Designed by Vico Magistretti in 1973 and produced by Cassina, the Maralunga 675 sofa is an iconic and timeless design piece.
We are pleased to have found this one, which is an early production Maralunga, bought by the previous owner in the 1970’s and had remained in the same family since.
It has had some restoration work done over the years including having the feet replaced. The leather has a nice wear to it, particularly over the arms. The seat cushions remain plump. The armrests have lost a bit of their padding over the years. There is the remnants of a darkening polish that had been applied at some point, this has led to a unique smoked tone in areas with less use. There is a 1cm tear to the leather at the edge of the left arm and patch of wear to the front right leg where it meets the foot. We have detailed these signs of use in the images.
